Paul Rennick
Paul has his B.S. in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a M.M. in Performance from the University of North Texas where he is a member of the percussion faculty. Having taught, written, and arranged for many of the most successful percussion ensembles in the country, Paul is recognized as a leader in the field of marching percussion. He has been a featured clinician at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, several Music Educator’s Association Conventions, as well as many Percussive Arts Society State Conventions. Paul is the director and arranger for the Contemporary-Pop Percussion Ensemble, which has featured some of the world’s most renowned percussionists as guest artists. Since 1989 Paul has written and designed the shows for the 13-time PAS National Champion University of North Texas Indoor Drumline. He has also been percussion arranger and caption head for the Concord Blue Devils, Sky Ryders, Velvet Knights, and Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps. He is currently the director of percussion for the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. Paul was a design team member, music composer/arranger, instructor, and percussion manager for the Tony & Emmy Award winning production “Blast!”, recently on tour throughout the U.S. He has also been musical arranger for the Conrad Jupiters Hotel Casino in Gold Coast, Australia, and directs the percussion troupe “Stickworks” which has performed throughout Australia and currently in the U.S. An active arranger and instructor for schools across the United States and Canada, his credits include numerous P.A.S., W.G.I., B.O.A., and MACDBA National Championships. Paul is currently on staff as a National Artist/Clinician with the Dynasty USA, Remo Inc., the Avedis Zildjian Co., and a Signature Artist with Innovative Percussion. He is also a member of the P.A.S. Marching Committee, and has many percussion ensemble works published through Drop 6 Media.


Ng Wing Kai, Ricky
Ricky was born in Hong Kong and now lives and works there. Ricky is the percussion section leader for the Hong Kong Soka Gakkai Marching Band in Hong Kong. Ricky is an endorser of Dynasty USA products and is interested having people contact him about the Honk Kong SGI Marching Band so that can continue to learn and get better. wing kai ng [rickykai@yahoo.com.hk]


Andres Rodriguiz
Andres Rodriguez is currently an Assistant Band Director at Bel Air High School in El Paso, Texas. The Bel Air High School Marching Band is a member of Bands of America and was a semifinalist in the BOA 2002, 2003, and 2005 regional competition in Long Beach, California and Flagstaff, Arizona. Mr. Rodriguez is the founder and current Director of the Innovative Marching Percussion Ensemble who is a member of Winterguard International, Winterguard Arizona and is also endorsed by Promark Corporation. Innovative is one of the many indoor marching percussion ensembles in the state of Texas. During the 2003 marching season, he was the caption head and musical arranger for the University of Texas at El Paso’s drumline. In the 2004-2005 marching season, Andres was a tenor tech for the Revolution Drum and Bugle Corp and is now one of their percussion consultants for the 2005-2006 season. With his great experience in many musical genres, from Latin to classical, Mr. Rodriguez has also become a well-rounded local artist as well. Currently, he is personally endorsed by Promark Corporation and is a full-time performer and recording artist with the local band, Liquid Skin. In the past six years he has worked along with several local schools including Americas, Bel Air, Bowie, Chapin, Jefferson, and Riverside High Schools. Andres attended the University of Texas at El Paso and received his Bachelor’s degree in Music and minored in Education. At the present time, Andres is working on his Master’s degree in Education at the University of Phoenix. In the future, Mr. Rodriguez expects to continue on with his education to receive his Doctorate in Music and plans to become a University professor.


Chris Romanowski
Chris Romanowski is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston and currently a freelance Percussion Instructor, Adjudicator, Clinician, and Music Arranger for several high schools and drumcorps around the world. Some groups include: BOA National Champion - Plymouth Canton Highschool (89-92), BOA Finalist - Etiwanda Highschool (97-present), 1999 DCI Division II Champion - Rochester Patriots Drum and Bugle Corps (98-present), 1999 DrumCorps Japan High Percussion Champion - Pride of Soka "Royal Kilties" (96-present). Romanowski is the co-founder of HeavyHitterPads.com and is a part of the Vic Firth Educational Team.


Keith Rousu
Keith Rousu is the Director of the Seattle Seahawks Blue Thunder Drumline. Beginning at the age of 12, drumming and sports have been his passions. Spending 4 years in the renowned University of Washington Husky Marching Band Drumline, Keith also played around Seattle in various rock bands before deciding upon a career change. He went back to school for a degree in Sports Management and that led to where it all began with the Seahawks. He has arranged music and instructed clinics for a few high schools in Washington. Blue Thunder has performed with guest drummers: Alan White (YES), Jason Finn (Presidents of the USA), Mike Derosier (Heart), Steve Smith (yes, thee Steve Smith!) and Scott Rockenfield and all members of Queesnryche. Blue Thunder also has the biggest bass drum in the world, built by Dynasty in spring of 2006, sitting at 100” in diameter. Blue Thunder proudly uses and abuses Dynasty Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Vic Firth sticks and mallets, and Remo drumheads.
