Jim NevermannGeneral percussion since 1957, includes US Navy Percussionist 1970-74 Marching percussion since 1965, includes writing for and teaching the drumlines of competitive HS and university marching band, Jr and Sr D&B corps (Phantom Regiment and the University of Illinois 'Marching Illini', among others). Jim's marching focus is now exclusively on northwest Washington's '2nd Wind' adult drumline, which performs with Dynasty's innovative, lightweight 'Wedge' snares and 'Squint' tenors. In "the real world", works in technical & biomedical illustration, general graphic design, and technical editing/communications.
Mike NevinMike Nevin, front ensemble arranger and instructor for The Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, is an internationally recognized percussion writer, arranger, adjudicator and clinician. He has written for and taught many award winning ensembles including two-time Winter Guard International Concert Class Champion, Gateway High School, the four-time WGI Independent World Class Champion, Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble, and the 2004 DCI Champion Concord Blue Devils. He is currently the Percussion Specialist at Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado and also directs a jazz ensemble there. This is his 2nd season as the Front Ensemble Arranger/Instructor for the Concord Blue Devils and his 10th season writing and arranging original music for the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble. Mike recently became the front ensemble arranger for the Syracuse Brigadiers Drum and Bugle Corps, the Yokohama Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps in Yokohama, Japan and the Renaissance Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps in Tokyo, Japan. Mike has served on the Board of Directors of the Rocky Mountain Percussion Association since it�s inception, including two terms as President, and has been a member of the WGI Percussion Advisory Board. He lives in Aurora, Colorado where he freelances as a percussionist in the Denver area and plays tenor and guitar pan regularly with the Pan Jumbies Steel Band. Mike received his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Montana State University where he studied under James B. Campbell and Daniel P. Moore, and his Masters degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Northern Colorado while studying with Gray Barrier. Mike is an endorser/clinician for Dynasty and Zildjian.
Jeremy NoyesJeremy Noyes is currently the Director of Percussion for Allen High School in Allen, Texas. Prior to his acceptance of his position in Allen he was the Percussion Specialist for the J.J. Pearce Area Band Programs from 2006-2007. He recently graduated with a Bachelors degree in Music Education from the University of North Texas. Growing up in Texas, he has been very active in Drum Corps including being a member of The Glassmen '98, Carolina Crown '00-'02, and Phantom Regiment '03. He has also been a member and section leader of the world renowned UNT Drumline that won the Percussive Arts Society International Drumline Championship in 2000 and 2002. Jeremy has also been on staff for Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps since 2006. He is an educational endorser for Innovative Percussion and Dynasty USA. |
