Rob HagenOfficial Percussion Projects Clinician for: Dynasty USA Percussion Instrument manufactor Innovative Percussion Inc. Drumstick manufactor and Evans Drumheads. Rob studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (NL) and marched for 6 years in the Boston Crusaders Front Ensemble. Lee HansenPercussion Instructor, Boston Crusaders. Lee Hansen is originally from Rockford, Illinois. In 1991 he moved to Orlando, Florida where he currently makes his home. Lee attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana from 1988 to 1989. In 1991 he attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He has worked as a Professional Percussionist with the Future Corps at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT Center and the Village Beatniks for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. He has also worked in the roles of teacher, writer, and arranger for Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, and most recently with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps from Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Hansen has worked on many important projects, among them are: Tapestry of Nations; the Millenium Celebration at EPCOT Center, the World Premiere of Pocahontas in New York’s Central Park, ABC Radio, The Disney Channel, 2 tours of Japan, “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee,” and performances with Susan Egan. He marched twelve years with the Phantom Regiment Organization. In 1989 and 1991 he was named Drum Corps Midwest Champion Multi-Tenor Drummer. Also in 1991 he was the Drum Corps International World Champion Multi-Tenor Drummer. Lee is currently endorsed by Dynasty USA, Vic Firth Sticks and Sabian Cymbals.
David HenkelPercussion Caption Head, Pacific Crest. David is a well known Marching Percussion Clinician and Arranger in Southern California and has served as a Judge and Clinician for the Southern California Percussion Alliance, the American Drum Line Association, and the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association. David is also a former founder/partner of Xymox Percussion, makers of percussion practice pads distributed worldwide. David is also a Sabian Artist and has worked closely with Sabian in the development of several products and serves as a marching percussion products consultant to various percussion products manufacturers. David has been a member of PAS for over 10 years and has served on the 1997 PASIC Marching Percussion Committee.
Adam HillAdam Hill is a percussionist in the Chicagoland area. He is a Music Education Graduate with a percussion emphasis from VanderCook College of Music under the instruction of Kevin Lepper. He currently is the Director and music arranger of the Pioneer Independent WGI marching percussion ensemble. Hill is also director of percussion, music technology, music theory, guitar and assistant marching band director at Romeoville High School in Romeoville IL. Hill is also employed by the Chicago Bears as a member of the Chicago Bears drumline and with the Chicago Bulls as a member of the “Stampede“ Drumline. He has was also a member and taught on the percussion staff of the Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps. He Placed with in the top ten for snare solo drum solo contest in Drum Corp International, Drum Corps Midwest, Pasic, and in 2002 he placed 2nd at DCI snare drum solo competition. Adam Hill continues to arrange music, judge,clinic and teach many schools around the Chicagoland. He is also very proud to be a Pro-Mark and Dynasty endorser.
Josh HinkelJosh serves as the Executive Director and Arranger for the Epiphany Indoor Percussion Ensemble from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He is currently a master's degree seeking student in secondary education music from Coastal Carolina University. He has been the Director of Bands at Rollings Middle School of the Arts in Summerville, SC for the past two years. Josh was the instructor for the 2003, 2004 and 2005 CWEA (Carolina Winter Ensemble Association) scholastic gold medalists and the CIPA (Carolina Indoor Performance Association) gold medalists in 2001. His percussion ensemble was named South Carolina state champions for 2004. His percussion arrangements have been heard in BOA, WGI and DCI performing arenas, and his compositions have been performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. Besides, percussion arranging, Josh is an avid band composer and arranger. He marched snare drum for two years as a member of the Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps. His primary teachers include Mark Thurston, Joe Southard, Tim Church, Jack Mansager, Jim Hall and Kurry Seymour. He performs with the Long Bay Symphony and the acclaimed CATALYST Percussion Group. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in education from the University of South Carolina in 2001. Josh also has been named an Innovative Percussion and Dynasty USA artist.
Teddy HolcombTeddy is currently the Director of Percussion at Bassett High School in Bassett, VA, the 2003 Atlantic Indoor Association Scholastic A Gold Medalist, and an Assistant Director of Epiphany Indoor Drum Line from Myrtle Beach, SC. Teddy has studied under and worked with several of percussion’s biggest names. His influences include Bill Bachman, Thom Hannum, Allen Joanis, Jeff Queen, Paul Rennick, and many others. Teddy performed as a member of the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps from Newark, DE (1997), the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps from Canton, Ohio (1999), and Music City Mystique Winter Drumline from Nashville, TN (1999-2000). His instructional and design resume includes such groups as the 2003 WGI Scholastic Open Class Finalist Ronald Reagan High School from San Antonio, TX, the 2000 WGI Scholastic World Finalist Dobyns-Bennett High School from Kingsport, TN and the 2004 AIA Scholastic A Gold Medalist Jefferson Forest High School from Forest, VA. He served as the bass drum technician for the 2 time (’02-’03) DCI I&E World Champion Bass Line at Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps from Fort Mill, SC (2001-2004). Teddy is originally from Roanoke, VA and currently resides in Martinsville, VA. He is endorsed by Vic Firth Sticks and Mallets, REMO drumheads, Dynasty Drums and The Pageantry Group. Teddy is an active employee of the Joanis Creative Group from San Antonio, TX. |
