Joe Davis
Joe Davis is the Director of Percussion at Lebanon High School in Lebanon, OH. Under Joe's direction the Lebanon Percussion Program has steadily increased and now includes over 40 active participants. Lebanon's Marching Band is an active participant on the Mid-States Band Association Circuit in the Dayton, OH area as well as the Ohio Music Education Association Adjudicated Events. The Lebanon Indoor Percussion Ensemble has found success in the Mid East Percussion Association circuit. In the winter of 2002, the Lebanon Indoor Percussion Ensemble stormed onto the scene with a semi-finals performance at the 2002 Winter Guard International Championships. Joe has been the Director of Percussion/Arranger at Lebanon High School the last seven years. In addition to his responsibilities at Lebanon serves as a member of the Vic Firth Education Team. Joe has been involved with the Drum and Bugle Corps activity as a member of the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps where he was named Percussion Rookie of the Year, before aging out in 1995. Joe holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music Education from Miami University in Oxford, OH Joe's professional affiliations include OMEA, PAS, and Phi Mu Alpha.


Wayne Dillon
Wayne Dillon holds a Masters degree in jazz performance from the University of Miami (Fl). He received his Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from York University in Toronto Canada. He is currently the director of bands at Elizabeth H.S. in Elizabeth NJ. Wayne has provided numerous clinics and consultations to Bands and Drum corps throughout the United States, Canada and Japan. In 1992 and 1999, Wayne judged the prestigious DCI finals competition in Madison Wisconsin.
He is an active adjudicator for Bands of America, as well as many other band associations. From 2000-2002, Wayne served on the brass staff of the eight-time world champion Cadets of Bergen County. In 2002, he served as the brass caption head. Last season, Wayne served as a music consultant for the Capital Regiment drum and bugle corps from Columbus Ohio. This year he will be serving as their program coordinator. Wayne is also a performing artist and clinician for Weril musical instruments.

Wayne lives near Allentown Pa. with his wife Colleen and their three children, Shayna, Spencer and Lauren.




Frank Dorritie
Frank Dorritie is a performer, producer, arranger, educator and author. He is known for his work with Dave Brubeck, Wynton Marsalis, the National Cast of Phantom of the Opera and Tito Puente, among others. Nine of his recordings have received Grammy Nominations and two of these, New York Scene (Art Blakey) and La Onda Va Bien (Cal Tjader), won Grammy Awards in Jazz and Latin categories, respectively. He has instructed and/or arranged music for the Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, Cavaliers, Madison Scouts, Garfield Cadets, Bluecoats, Bridgemen, 27th Lancers, Renegades and a host of other corps and bands. Frank has worked as a performer, clinician and adjudicator throughout North America, Europe, South Africa and Japan, and has served as musical consultant for Fox Television. He is the Chair of Recording Arts at Los Medanos College and his books "Essentials of Music for Audio Professionals" and "Handbook of Field Recording" are published by ArtistPro. Frank is the DCA I&E champion (Tenor Bugle) and a member of the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame.


Andy Dougharty
Andy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree in Music Education. He holds lifetime certification from the State of Texas for teaching instrumental music at all levels. Andy has been living in Indonesia since 1989. He was first employed as an instructor for Marching Band Sampoerna, serving as Low Brass Coordinator and Drill Designer for their extensive national touring program and for both its performances in the 1990 and 1991 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. In 1993, Andy moved to Bontang, Kalimantan Timur and, together with Dynasty Percussion Clinician Rene’ Conway, took over the training of Marching Band Pupuk Kaltim. In 1994, they became the first band from outside Jakarta to win the National Championship. They have held this top honor every year since that time. Andy was the 1998-1999 winner of the Sudler Shield Award. Andy is the author of “BrassMaster,” a brass instrument technique development manual and the author of “Indoor Drill Design for the Contemporary Marching Band.” Andy is the Southeast Asian and Pacific Region advisor for The World Association of Marching Show Bands and has served as a judge for the WAMSB World Championships: 1999-Sydney, Australia, 2000-Calgary, Canada, 2001-Potsdam, Germany and 2002-Chiba, Japan. Andy is also very active as a performer and studio recording artist with credits for television, film and pop music recordings. He specializes in trombone and mellophone.


Ian Downes
Marching Percussion, educator in the UK. Ian studied percussion with The Tameside Orchestras, taking on all aspects of percussion and has played in many of the UKs top drum & bugle corps. Ian has written for many drum corps in the UK and now writes and teaches the Poynton Commodores and served as their Corps Coordinator and Caption Head of Percussion from 1992 to 2001. 2002 saw Poynton Commodores join the Dynasty family. Ian also served as caption head of percussion for 5 years for the British Youth Bands Associations Festival of Music, an annual weeklong event overseeing 20 percussion staff and over 200 students. Ian now plays with an 18 piece big band called High Brass made up of members with a drum corps background. Formed in 2000, High Brass are currently enjoying breaking into the mainstream jazz audience.


Scott Dubois
Scott is currently the Percussion Coordinator for Boston University Music Organizations where he is responsible for the Boston University Winter Percussion Ensemble and Terrier Marching Band. Scott is also the Front Ensemble Instructor for the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps, the 2004 Div II World Champions. He is the Percussion Arranger for the Joseph Case High School Marching Band and teaches private lessons for Millis Public Schools in Millis, MA. He served as Percussion Supervisor for the New Bedford Middle Schools (1999-2001), batterie technician for the Southern Maine Youth Percussion Ensemble (2000-2001) and accepted the position of batterie Caption Head/Arranger for SMYPE in the 2001-2002 season. Scott performed with various drum and bugle corps from 1996-2000. He remains very active as an educator, consultant, and clinician in the New England area. His specialties are marching and orchestral percussion. Scott is a member of the Vic Firth Education Team (SEP/MPS), an endorser of StickTape.com, and is an endorsing artist/clinician for Dynasty USA. Scott is an active member of the Percussive Arts Society and is an adjudicator for USSBA.


Mike Duffy
Dynasty Consultant Mike Duffy is one of the legendary arrangers of drum and bugle corps. Mike arranged the brass charts for such corps as the Troopers, Anaheim Kingsmen, Blue Stars, DeLaSalle Oaklands, Oakland Crusaders, Blue Rock, Garfield Cadets, Shamrocks, Thunderbirds, Marauders, and the Seattle Imperials. Mr. Duffy made history when the Kingsmen and Blue Stars finished first and second at the 1972 Drum Corps International Championship. He arranged the music for both corps. To this day, Mr. Duffy’s history making accomplishment remains intact.


Craig Dunn
Craig Dunn is the executive director and founder of Rhythm X and is no stranger to the indoor drumline activity. Craig Dunn was the director of percussion at Westerville South high school and is now the director of percussion at Olentangy Liberty high school. Prior to Craig Dunn leading Rhythm X in their premier season to a WGI gold medal in Independent Open Class, and most recently their WGI bronze medal in Independent world class in 2004, he led Westerville South to five Winter Guard International regional championships, and two bronze medalist performances at the Winter Guard International World Championships. Craig Dunn developed Rhythm X upon his departure from Westerville South to be able to offer the indoor experience to kids from all over the nation. Craig Dunn has been teaching percussion in central Ohio since 1993. Craig Dunn has worked with several nationally known programs including the Westerville North high school, the Westerville South high school, the Fairborn high school, and the Reeths Puffer High School. Craig Dunn is a sought after percussion writer, arranger, and clinician for many marching band and indoor programs. Craig has been on the WGI Percussion Advisory board for 3 terms and is also a member of the Drum Corps International judging team.
